Etymology
The term “Oats” comes from the Latin word Avena sativa and the term comes from the Latin word sativus-a-um, meaning “one who cultivates or plants.”

Cultivation
Oatmeal is an annual plant. You can sow both fall for shipment in late summer and spring for shipment in the fall. Oats wants moderate temperatures and humid, typical of central and northern Europe. Also grown in the upper valleys of the Himalayas, or the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.

Composition
Among other compounds, is rich in minerals (iron, zinc, magnesium) and vitamins (A, B1, B2, PP, E and D)

Uses

Health
